Evan Phillips is an alpinist, songwriter and producer from Anchorage, Alaska. Phillips cut his teeth exploring Alaska’s mountains, The Canadian Rockies, and South America before sustaining an injury in 2002 that derailed his climbing ambitions. Since then, Phillips has built a career as a musician, touring extensively in Alaska, the U.S. and Europe as a solo artist, as well as with his bands The Whipsaws and Easton Stagger Phillips. Additionally, Phillips is a sought after producer and recording engineer in Alaska.
